Helping Ukrainian Refugees
Since Putin’s War began in February over 60,000 people of Ukraine
have sought Lithuania as a place of refuge. In the small town of
Birzai there are around 170 refugees living in this area. Some come
and stay and others move on, either back to Ukraine to find their
loved ones or to other countries where jobs are more plentiful.

As this crisis continued to rage Gifts of Grace wanted to be able to
help, because we knew that this could very easily be happening to
the ones we know and love in Lithuania and Estonia. So, we began a
campaign to raise funds for the refugees that were coming into these
			countries.

In Birzai, Lithuania, Regina, the director of Pagalbos
Centras has overseen this project, along with her team of ladies who
have helped to make sure the children have school supplies,
clothing, food, and other various necessities. They have also made
sure that the parent or grandparents needs have been met as well.
Pagalbos Centras has also been helping with housing one family in
the Gifts of Grace Center in Paceriaukste.

In Tallinn, Estonia we have been helping through Pastor Andrus and
his wife Jelena by supplying funds for medical packets for the
refugee families. At one point a man from their church went into the
war zone of Ukraine and gave out these medical packets. He told
Jelena of his experience and how happy the folks were to have these
supplies as there were none to be had.

If you would like to give to this project, I want to assure you that
all funds are used directly for the refugees and Ukrainian people
living in Ukraine at this time. None of your funds will go to
administration cost, as our work is strictly volunteer.

God Bless You and God Bless Ukraine.
